Dar Al Ber Society has, for the sixth year in a row, contributed AED100,000 to the Hemaya International Forum of the Dubai Police, which brings together experts in combating drugs from different countries each year to share their expertise.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, handed over the cheque to Lt. Col. Dr. Abdurrahman Sharaf Mohamed, Deputy Director of the International Training Service Centre and General Coordinator of the forum.
Present were Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, along with Lieutenant Ahmed Zayed, head of the Hemaya International Training Section.
Al Falasi paid tributes to the great efforts of the forum in developing public awareness, particularly of young people, against the terrible impact of narcotic drugs. "The forum’s work speaks volumes," he said.
Lt. Col. Dr. Abdurrahman Sharaf Mohamed expressed sincere appreciation to Dar Al Ber for its incessant support and efficient participation in protecting the society against such grave hazards, saying, "The forum, adopting and promoting social responsibility, coordinates with all the bodies concerned to reach the positive results aspired, and effectively protect the country against drugs."
