Dar Al Ber Society, DABS, has launched a special and comprehensive campaign to support the orphanages it had earlier established worldwide, attract more contributions to this segment of the society, and thoroughly secure their needs.

The leading charity society, now sponsoring about 30,000 orphans in 20 countries including 950 in the UAE, spares no effort to develop the services being rendered to them in all aspects of life, and support them by all possible means.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said the promising charity drive is aimed to ensure a decent life for the orphans registered with the society all over the world.

"We are all set to promote the concept of integrated and compassionate society, locally and abroad, in line with the directives of the prudent leadership and DABS’ vision to spread tolerance and happiness as strategic inevitable bases in any society," Al Mazrouie said.

He further added that the drive is part of Dar Al Ber’s passion to provide a comprehensive care for the orphans that covers all aspects of life, including health, education, accommodation, as well as self and professional development.

"The society, with the help of philanthropists here, and in collaboration with UAE-accredited charity organisations around the world, has founded a number of orphanages in several countries for the benefit of this important segment," he said.

Imran Mohammed Abdullah, Head of the Charity Projects Sector at Dar Al Ber Society, said the campaign is meant to support DABS’ orphanages worldwide, and operate and manage them by specialised staff.
