Dubai Customs’ Ghayyath Volunteer Team has launched its "Ghayyath Eid Gift" campaign in cooperation with the Dubai Charity Association. The initiative targets orphans and the underprivileged in Ajman.
The team gave Eid al-Fitr money to 200 orphans, along with 200 food baskets. Fouad Al Shihi, Head of the Ghayyath Volunteer Team, said that 2017 is a #year of giving and an occasion to help children and orphans and make them happy.
He added that there were other initiatives carried out by the team, including paying Ramadan Ration to 170 needy families in Ajman and distribution of 500 Suhur meals to needy families and labourers in Ajman.
The team includes 90 volunteers who work collectively to support solidarity in support of the UAE’s strategic vision and values.
