As many as EGP 25 million have been allocated to support cleanliness system in Giza governorate, its governor Maj. Gen. Mohamed Kamal el Daly said on Sunday.
Some EGP 19 million were dedicated to buying news tools to improve cleanliness capabilities during this year's investment plan, Daly added.
The tools comprise 25 bulldozers, two loaders, 19 trucks and trippers, as well as three street sweepers.
The governor made the remarks while opening General Authority For Cleanness & Beautification-affiliated New Marioutiah car park on a 2,500-meter square land with a cost of EGP 450,000.
Meanwhile, General Authority For Cleanness & Beautification Chairman Ezzat al Kharsa said that Marioutiah parking lot houses an administrative building, three work shops and two gate for entry and exit,.
He added that it could accommodate up to 60 cars.
