The Egyptian consulate in Jeddah is following up the condition of the 51 injured Egyptian passengers who were admitted to hospital after their bus overturned in Jeddah, Egyptian Consul General Adel el Alfy said on Sunday.

A total of 19 Egyptians left the hospital, while only six are still receiving treatment, he added.

The bus, which was heading for Makkah, overturned when the driver deviated from the highway, the consul further said.
