Egyptian ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Yasser Othman visited Saturday Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third holiest shrine. The visit comes after repeated assaults by Israeli settlers on the mosque and desecration of the holy place. The visit is part of Egypt's keenness on supporting the Palestinians against non-stop Israeli attacks, Othman told MENA correspondent. Othman reviewed with Palestinians the latest developments and the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israelis more than once in the last days. A number of Palestinians were injured and suffered suffocation in clashes with Israeli troops on Friday.
