General conditions of Egyptian pilgrims are very good and they face no problems, said Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who chairs the Egyptian official pilgrimage mission, on Sunday.
"Some elderly pilgrims have observations though about the distance from their residence to the holy mosque," Madbouly told MENA in exclusive statements.
Inspecting some hotels of Egyptian pilgrims, the minister said all clinics of the mission have been electronically connected to address any contagious disease.
He said that no transmissible diseases have been spotted so far among the Egyptian pilgrims, adding samples of two suspected coronavirus tested negative.
He noted that pilgrims undergo routine tests by the mission if virus symptoms are found. He put the death toll among the Egyptian pilgrims so far at 11.
The minister made sure during the trip that the Egyptian pilgrims receive all available services
