President of Tunisia Mohamed Moncef Marzouki invited Egyptian President-elect Mohamed Morsi to visit Tunisia. This came in a telephone conversation Tuesday evening between the two presidents. Marzouki renewed his congratulations to Morsi on his election president of Egypt and on the success of the presidential elections, Saying that the success of the Egyptians in this historic event is a support for the Tunisian revolution, which opens promising horizons for developing the relations between the two countries. A statement issued by the Tunisian Presidency said that Morsi accepted the invitation and the date for the visit will to be determined later.
