Security forces have stopped three Jewish Ethiopians attempting to cross the border near Israel and Gaza, an Egyptian security source said Saturday. The immigrants were trying to cross into Israel about two kilometers south of Kerem Shalom, according to the security official. One of the men suffered a broken foot after they tried to flee. Egyptian security sources said the three infiltrators were Jewish men aged 26, 25 and 19. The injured man was taken to hospital in Rafah for treatment, a security official told Ma'an. They told interrogators they planned to join friends and family in Israel and seek asylum.
