Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on Friday September 1, the Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia has announced.
The court made the announcement after several trustworthy adults gave testimonies of sighting on Tuesday evening the crescent marking the start of the month of Dhul Hijja.
“Accordingly, the attendance at Mount Arafat, the main pillar of Haj rituals will be on Thursday, the ninth day of Dhul Hijja, August 31. Eid Al Adha will be marked the next day,” the Supreme Court said in its statement.
“The Supreme Court wishes all pilgrims a successful and comfortable Haj and non-pilgrim Muslims all over the world accepted deeds.”
