MP Mohammed Al-Hajjar said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon - 93.3 radio that "the parliamentary elections will be held on time, and everything we hear about postponing it is incorrect."
He explained that "in the event of inability to complete the magnetic card, the elections will be conducted by other means, such as the identity card or passport and pre-registration of candidates," explaining that he did not raise the issue of shortening the mandate of the House of Representatives to the Council of Ministers.
On the subject of Lebanon's participation in the reconstruction of Syria, which was put forward during the visit of President Saad Hariri to Russia, he said "There is consensus that Lebanon is a mandatory station in the reconstruction because of its location and expertise and the capabilities of the private sector. This is evidence of the confidence of the international community in Lebanon's future amid the international and regional agreement on supporting stability
