The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, today inaugurated a meeting hall and health facilities at the Tarim Secondary School for Boys in Hadramaut, following its maintenance and restoration, as well as provide it with furniture, as a continuation of the support offered by the UAE in rehabilitating vital sectors in Yemen that were destroyed by the coup militias, most notably in the education sector.
Shawqi Al Tamimi, Supervisor of the ERC’s Projects in Hadramaut, inspected the equipment provided to the restored meeting hall and health facilities.
Also, Abdulaziz Al Jabri, Head of the ERC Team in Hadramaut, highlighted the importance of the project in continuing the rehabilitation of the local educational system.
The launch was attended by several officials from Tarim District and the school’s administrative staff.
Local officials and the school’s students and parents expressed their appreciation to the UAE and the ERC for their giving and support in re-building, restoring and developing local government and civil institutions in Hadramaut and other liberated Yemeni governorates.
