The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Monday delivered supplies of medicines to a hospital in Rumah District of Yemeni Governorate of Hadramaut as part of the UAE's humanitarian efforts to improve health services provided by hospitals and health clinics.
ERC Representative in Hadramaut, Abdul Azizi Al Jabri, said the medical assistance aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens by providing them with free medicines.
''The ERC is providing a package of humanitarian, food and therapeutic assistance in the Governorate of Hadramaut to enable its citizens to cope with the deteriorating humanitarian and economic conditions,'' he added.
Hospital officials thanked the ERC for its great efforts in supporting the health sector in Hadramaut.
