The Ministry of State for Federal National Council, FNC, Affairs has organised a field visit that included members of several government authorities, with the aim of exploring the best practices adopted by the Government Accelerators, the Youth Centre and the Model Centre for Government Services, under the framework of its cooperation and coordination with the UAE Cabinet and the Future Office.
The delegation included Tariq Hilal Lootah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs, Dr. Saeed Al Ghafli, Assistant Under-Secretary for FNC Affairs, and Sami bin Oday, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector, as well as directors and officials from several departments.
Lootah said that the UAE government is an exceptional international model, as it has launched innovative initiatives that have contributed to enhancing its work, and it is always keen to adopt the best global practices and utilise the latest technologies and indexes that measure its performance as tools for motivating its employees to work with a futuristic vision and achieve success and excellence.
During its visit to the Government Accelerators, the delegation explored its key management approach and reviewed its innovative methods to save time, complete required tasks and improve its services, to ensure the realisation of the strategic goals of the UAE Vision 2021.
The delegation was also introduced to the various interests of the nation’s youth and their future aspirations during its visit to the Youth Centre. The centre aims to encourage young people to exchange opinions and present projects and innovations in areas of entrepreneurship, the media, research, programming and other vital areas.
During its visit to the Model Centre for Government Services, the delegation was briefed about its experience in integrating government services, as well as involved government authorities and the key artificial intelligence applications used to facilitate the provision of its services, which have simplified the process of obtaining vital government services through one visit, one portal and one employee that represent 14 government authorities.
