Four people were injured Sunday in renewed clashes in the Palestinian Ain El-Helweh refugees camp in Sidon in Southern Lebanon, while a huge fire broke out in the area.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the clashes have been ongoing since overnight between Fatah Movement and the joint security forces on one hand, and Bilal Badr militants group on the other hand.
The clashes intensified this morning with sounds of gunshots and rockets clearly heard and a huge fire erupted at the intersection of al-Hasbeh vegetable market along Fouqani Street inside Ain el-Helweh refugee camp.
The clashes were triggered Friday afternoon when a group of Badr's supporters attacked members of the joint forces during their deployment near the vegetable market.
On Saturday, NNA reported that the clashes left two people dead and fifteen others injured.
