Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has met with the Hon. Keith Pitt, Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment in Australia, and discussed ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, Al Yamahi praised the strength and depth of the economic cooperation and trade relations between the UAE in general and Fujairah in particular with Australia, pointing out that Australia is an important trading partner of the UAE.
They also discussed the distinguished relations between the two sides in various fields and means of enhancing them, stressing the importance of developing cooperation in a number of sectors of common interest, taking advantage of the Australian experience as well as reviewing investment opportunities in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The meeting was attended by ambassadors and senior officials.
