Future parliamentary bloc convened at Bayt-al-Wassat on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of MP Fouad Siniora, with talks featuring high on the current situation and latest developments.
"The bloc followed up on King Salman bin Abdul Aziz's reception of Prime Minister Saad Hariri yesterday, as well as on the meeting between Hariri and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahian today," the bloc said in a statement issued following its meeting and read out by MP Ammar Houri.
"The bloc hoped that Lebanon would exit the crisis it is currently witnessing amid the absence of the Prime Minister," it added.
"The bloc is waiting for the return of the Prime Minister, and it decided to keep its open-ended meetings," it concluded
