The GCC Ministers of Information will hold their 20th meeting in Riyadh next Tuesday. The GCC Assistant Secretary General for Cultural and Information Affairs Khalid bin Salim Al- Ghassani pointed out that the Ministers will discuss topics on their agenda relating to the enhancement of joint information works including activation of media works and common information strategy. He added that the GCC information ministers will also look at a number of notes, including a memorandum concerning the recommendations of the Coordinating Standing Committee of satellites and youth, and others memos related to the recommendations of radio , television and news agencies'officials, plus recommendations adopted during the 24th and 25th meetings of the Foreign Media officials especially as related to the GCC days festival to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . The GCC ministers will also consider the report of the Director-General of the Gulf Radio and television organ as well as the report of the Executive Director of the Foundation joint production program, Salim Al- Ghassani said. The GCC Assistant Secretary General for Cultural Affairs and Media General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council, meantime affirmed that the GCC will hold a preparatory meeting on Sunday to prepare the agenda of the GCC information ministers'meeting.
