Kataeb Party head, MP Sami Gemayel, on Monday maintained that the Lebanese, regardless of their religious and political views, are all beside the Lebanese army in its heroic battle against Daesh on the outskirts of Ras Baalback and al-Qaa.
"Nobody else enjoys unanimity and support to be the shield protecting all of us and defending Lebanon's sovereignty and independence," Gemayel said during the inauguration of Kataeb's new center in the Jbeil town of Qartaba.
"We have always called for the army to hold weapons alone to defend Lebanon; today, we reiterate that we do not want anyone but the army to defend us, our destiny, and the future of our youth," he stressed.
"Kataeb will be back to Jbeil to lead the electoral battle in it," he concluded
