MP Sami Gemayel on Tuesday maintained that he will keep defending Lebanon and the interests of the Lebanese people, addressing the ruling class following the state's action against him over remarks he had made in Bkerki.
"The government's letter is an implicit call to hold us accountable and take measures against us," Gemayel told a press conference, stressing that he has the full right to suspect an oil-related deal before the public opinion.
"We will keep defending the country and the interests of the Lebanese people no matter what, and we will keep telling the truth," he underlined
