The 2017 Autumn Edition of the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (Getex), a leading student recruitment platform, will open its doors for learners in Dubai, UAE tomorrow (November 1).
The event will run until November 3 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The region’s top event for higher education will feature over 600 courses from a wide variety of study streams in eight countries.
Getex Autumn 2017 provides parents and students with the opportunity for face-to-face interaction between top-level representatives of education providers, which could help them fully understand the nature of their career options and the university environment they find fitting for further studies – including admissions policies as well as the complete application process with full knowledge of the requirements for the next steps in their studies.
Anselm Godinho, Managing Director at event organisers IC&E, said: "Higher education is one of the key priorities many parents carefully pay attention to as they invest in the future of their children. Decision-making in this aspect involves a lot of thinking and assessment given the time and money that parents in the region will spend for education.
"It is therefore, crucial that learners be fully informed of the courses, the degrees and the type of university that best fit their educational pursuits. In this regard, we continue to create platforms that facilitate the exchange of information between education providers and the learner community in the Middle East," he added.
