Libya's national army commander Khalifa Haftert appreciated Egypt's efforts to reach a political solution to the Libyan crisis.

He hailed the outcome of his meeting in Paris yesterday with Foreign Minister Sameh Soukry, praising Egypt's support for the Libya and the Arab nation.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Egypt's efforts would help all Libyan parties reach a political solution to the Arab country's crisis.

The spokesman, said Shoukry posted Hafter on the outcome of his meeting with UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame in Paris and also his meeting with regional and international partners.

According to Abu Zeid, Egypt will continue its efforts to bring the viewpoints of all Libya partners closer within the framework of a political solution. 

On the Qatari crisis, Hafter pointed out to the negative role of Doha in the Arab region, particularly in Egypt and Libya.
