Future bloc MP, Mohammad Hajjar, urged all political counterparts to respect the Constitutional Council's decision to revoke the tax hike law.
"Everyone must respect the decision of the Constitutional Council to repeal the tax law and act under its resolution and effects," MP Hajjar said during an interview on "Radio Dawn" station.
"The problem is how to cover the expenses to fund the salary scale law," Hajjar added, pointing out that giving a raise on salaries without securing the income "would hit the salary and the entire economic situation."
Commenting on the meeting between Minister Gibran Bassil and his Syrian counterpart, Walid Moallem, in New York, Hajjar criticized the meeting and underscored that "the government does not cover the meeting
