Minister of Education Marwan Hamadeh on Tuesday denied claims that Prime Minister Saad Hariri was detained
Beirut - Arab Today

Minister of Education Marwan Hamadeh on Tuesday denied claims that Prime Minister Saad Hariri was detained in Riyadh, clarifying that Hariri's current stay in the KSA was an outright act of protest.

"Chances for Hariri's resignation or revoking it are equal," he added in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

Hamadeh also stressed the need to respond positively to the Prime Minister's initiative -- an initiative he described as "rich in proposals towards the solution".

The Minister went on to call for vigilance pertaining to attempts by some to blast Lebanon's Arab relations.

"In case of lack of awareness, next Sunday will witness the ravaging of relations between Lebanon and Gulf countries," Hamadeh warned.

The Minister finally said that the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri would restore balance to the political compromise, provided that parties engage in the dissociation policy by neutralizing Lebanon and preserving its peace
