Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, visited on Tuesday the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2017, the world's most influential oil and gas exhibition and conference, currently being staged at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 13th to 16th November.

Accompanied by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and ADNOC Group CEO, Sheikh Hamed stopped at a number of local, regional and international exhibitors who informed him about their latest technology innovations, products and services in areas of oil and gas.

He was also informed about visions for the energy industry, sustainability and conservation of the environment.

Sheikh Hamed said the UAE is seeking from hosting such international energy forums to assemble world industry leaders and experts to share experiments and experiences so as to find innovative technological solutions to challenges facing the energy sector.

More than 10,000 delegates, 2,200 exhibiting companies, 900 speakers, and over 100,000 visitors from 135 countries are projected to gather in the UAE capital for ADIPEC 2017, breaking the event’s previous records in international participation, and bringing the world’s decision makers, industry leaders, and experts under one roof to address the most critical issues surrounding the evolving energy landscape.
