Minister of Education and Higher Learning, Marwan Hamade, on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Saad Hariri had reached an agreement to preserve Lebanon's stability with the Saudis.
"Prime Minister Saad Hariri's visit to Saudi Arabia can be briefed in one sentence: holding onto Lebanon's stability and Arabism," Hamade told an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.
"This means that Hariri has reached an equation with the Saudi to maintain stability and readjust the compass as to holding onto clearer and more neutral Arab stances, away from any implication in foreign policies," he added.
On a different note, Hamade maintained that there was no need for the strike tomorrow, exhorting the teachers' union at private schools "not to keep the students at home and in the streets
