Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, has congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, for winning the sixth overall and the second place in his category in the Dubai International Triathlon Championship which was held in UAE.
Shaikh Salman asserted that the new exploit adds to HH Shaikh Nasser’s rich record of distinguished sports achievements, as a result of the constant support enjoyed by the youth and sports movement from the kingdom’s leadership.
HH Shaikh Nasser’s new achievement confirms his superb results in the previous triathlon championships, which affirms the leading position he enjoys in the sport at the international level, he said.
Shaikh Salman also praised the good results of the Bahraini team at the Dubai Triathlon Championship, which, he said, the progress of the team thanks to the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser.
He added that HH Shaikh Nasser’s outstanding achievement will motivate him and the Bahraini team to perform better during the upcoming IRONMAN 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain, wishing them every success.
