HM King thanks ISS astronauts

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa expressed thanks in reply to an audio and video message of congratulations sent by the astronauts onboard the International Space Station (ISS) orbiting the earth, marking the National Day and the anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the throne.
The ISS astronauts hailed, in their message from orbit, strong relations binding the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Bahrain and the wise policy of HM the King, promoting dialogue between civilizations and co-existence.
HM the King thanked the ISS astronauts for their sincere congratulations and good feelings on the Accession and National Days, extending sincere greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his friendly people.
HM the King said that he looked forward to seeing a Bahraini astronaut among the ISS crew soon, wishing them a safe and successful return to their country and families.
