Iraqi President discusses crisis between Baghdad, Kurdistan region

Iraqi President Fuad Masum arrived Friday in Sulaymaniyah province to hold talks with Iraqi Kurdistan region's government.
Masum is expected to discuss the crisis between the Iraqi central and Kurdistan region's governments over the disputed territories of the region, especially after the recent Kurdish secession referendum in September, an Iraqi source told Iraqi-based Al Sumaria TV news channel.
The Iraqi president is most likely to discuss with senior Iraqi Kurdistan region's officials the the repercussions of the crisis taking place in Kirkuk province, the source said.
