The spokesman of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Azad Jindiyani announced that PUK is with the provincial elections in Kirkuk province in accordance with the laws and regulations adopted in other provinces. Jindiyani said in a press statement that the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan held a regular meeting two days ago in the city of Sulaymaniyah headed by President Talabani, noting that during the meeting, the situation in Kurdistan and in Iraq in general as well as the relations of PUK with the parties of Kurdish and Iraqi allies were also discussed, especially the situation in Kirkuk province and the disputed areas. He explained that the meeting discussed, in particular, the relations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Movement for Change, adding that there are strong relations within the framework of the strategic agreement between the two sides. He stressed the support of the PUK to the participation of the Kurdish parties in the coming elections in one voice in one list.
