Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Hatem Halawani, on Saturday said that Jordanian-Saudi ties have set an example for Arab cooperation in all fields, which represent a bright picture to build upon to enhance joint Arab action and enact Arab accords and decisions.During a meeting with the Saudi ambassador in Amman, Fahd bin Abdul Mihsin Al-Zaid, Halawani pointed out that there is an increasing interest on both sides to boost bilateral ties, especially in the economic field, to serve the joint interests of both countries.Further, the minister highlighted the role of the private sector in both countries to boost economic cooperation, bilateral ties and investments.He also expressed Jordan’s appreciation for the continued support from the Arab Gulf states, especially Saudi Arabia, which assists Jordan in facing challenges, execute comprehensive reforms and improve the level of services provided to Jordanians.Additionally, the Saudi ambassador said his country realises Jordan’s development needs and the challenges it faces on more than one level, especially with the large number of Syrian refugees in the country
