The Jordanian-Cypriot Business Forum kicks off in Amman on Monday with the aim of boosting trade and investment cooperation between private sector institutions from both countries.
The forum, which is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, will discuss means to forge closer economic ties and set up joint investment projects by businessmen and investors from both countries.
President of the chamber Nael Kabariti said in a press statement on Wednesday that the forum will be held on the sidelines of a visit by a Cypriot economic delegation to the Kingdom, noting that an agreement will be signed to establish a Jordanian-Cypriot Business Council during the visit.
According to Kabariti, the delegation includes representatives of the sector of real estate, higher education, health care, pharmaceuticals, medical tourism, transport, IT, banking and consultations.
