Minister of Environment, Tarek El-Khatib, said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon Radio 93.3 that "there is no fear of a government vacuum if Premier, Saad Hariri, insists on his resignation."
"The president will follow the provisions of the constitution after the resignation is done completely," he noted.
"It is necessary to strengthen national unity, rise above internal differences and support the President of the Republic in his national positions," Khatib said
