King Abdullah will pay a short working visit to Doha on Friday, a Royal Court statement said Wednesday. The King is scheduled to hold talks with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani on ways to boost bilateral relations and regional developments. The King will also attend on Tuesday an extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Mecca that will focus on “Islamic solidarity”. Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz called for holding the summit, which will be preceded by a meeting of foreign ministers of the OIC’s 57 member countries.
