King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain expressed the Kingdom''s concern on the constant struggle that Palestinians undergo, due to the growing aggression policies pursued by the Israeli occupation that promoted current deterioration of the humanitarian state of Palestinians, in which peace negotiations were frozen as tension and instability in the region escalated. King of Bahrain stressed the Kingdom''s absolute support to the Palestinian request for full United Nations recognition, in line with the unanimous official recognition of the world to the independent state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital back in June 1967, according to Bahrain news agency (BNA). In a letter sent to Abdou Salam Diallo, Chairman of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the King called upon the international community to double its political, moral and financial support to Palestinians in order to alleviate the humanitarian plight aggravated by the Israeli aggression.
