Newly-accredited Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed Saleh al Zuwaikh described relations between Egypt and Kuwait as historic and deeply-rooted.
This came in a statement by Kuwait's embassy in Egypt following submitting al Zuwaikh 's credentials to Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry.
Al Zuwaikh, who served as a Kuwaiti ambassador in several countries last of which is China, hailed his warm meeting with Shokry which reflects the strength of ties that bind both countries.
The newly-appointed ambassador highlighted mutual keenness on bolstering cooperation in all fields in light of the time-honored relations and the aspirations of both nations.
