Manama - BNA

Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has stressed that Kuwait’s constant honourable stances in support of Bahrain reflect the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries, noting that Kuwait’s stances have contributed to enhancing comprehensive development.

Al-Saleh was speaking while receiving here today the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain and the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Shaikh Azzam Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.

The Shura chairman pointed out that the deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations have resulted in advanced levels of bilateral coordination, cooperation and complementarity in many fields, especially the economic, investment, health, educational and social fields.

He stressed that Kuwait’s contribution to the Fiscal Balance Programme, which was announced by the Ministerial Committee for Financial Affairs and Rationalising Expenditure last week, confirmed anew the common destiny binding the two countries, as well as their fraternal ties and solidarity.
