Manama - Arab Today

Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has sent cables to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
The Speaker extended congratulations to the leadership on the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.
He lauded Bahrain’s achievements towards progress and sustainable development, and the gains of the Bahraini people thanks to the unlimited support of the leadership.
Al-Mulla lauded HM the King’s pioneering role in the modernisation and reform witnessed by the kingdom thanks to his sound directives and wise vision, which, he said, resulted in the outstanding cohesion among the various segments of the Bahraini people, and the citizens’ rallying behind the leadership.
The Speaker added that Bahrain’s advanced strides in various fields and sectors were the fruitful outcome of HM the King’s Reform Project which made the citizens the cornerstone of the development process, praising at the same time the government’s approach to strengthen constructive cooperation with the Legislature.
He wished Bahraini leaders abundant health and happiness, and the Bahraini people further progress and prosperity.
