Legal affairs ministerial committee holds meeting

he Legal Affairs Ministerial Committee has convened a meeting chaired by Deputy Premier Jawad bin Salem Al Arrayed, to discuss the topics and memos listed on the meeting’s itinerary.
The committee discussed proposed draft laws submitted from the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council to the government which prepared its relevant opinion memos in this regard.
The committee also discussed law bills and resolutions presented by the government and prepared its recommendations in this regard to be submitted to the Cabinet.
The committee considered proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives to the government. The committee prepared its draft response in this regard to the government and decided to submit its response to the government to take the necessary resolutions in their regard, in addition to expressing its opinion on some of the matters referred to the committee from the Cabinet and various ministries.
