Life sentence, rigorous imprisonment for 27 MBs over riot charges

Zagazig Criminal Court handed down on Monday a life sentence and 3 to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment against 27 defendants belonging to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood over riot charges.
The defendants are accused of possessing explosive substances, setting vital institutions ablaze and inciting violence against state institutions.
Security bodies in Sharqiya in coordination with the national security device managed to nab two students at Zagazig University and 25 MB members for setting the gate of the Faculty of Arts on fire, hurling security personnel with Molotov cocktails and distributing an anti-state flyers.
The two students got a life sentence, while 27 MBs got ten to three years of rigorous imprisonment.
