Makkah Deputy Gov. Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz inaugurated on Thursday the Electronic Forum, organized by the Committee of Young Businessmen at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and more than 120 public and private bodies.
JCCI Secretary-General Hassan Dahlan thanked Prince Abdullah for his patronage of the forum, and pointed to the importance of investing in electronics to accomplish Vision 2030 by developing local content and stimulating the business sector to create opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
Dahlan said the forum aims to create a motivating environment for young app designers and investors, adding that the presence of young designers and leading companies in one place contributes to developing these partnerships.
The forum witnessed the inauguration of 12 smartphone apps by Prince Abdullah.
