Manazel Real Estate, a leading UAE developer, has announced its plans to build four schools within its UAE residential developments.
The move is part of Manazel’s strategy to develop fully integrated residential environments, and its ongoing commitment to invest in and support UAE’s wider education sector.
Schools will be built across its Al Reef and Ghantoot Hotel and Resort projects, seeking to attract a number of experienced international education institutions to its new facilities.
Manazel plans to build two schools in its Al Reef Villas development, which is located near Al Raha beach and Abu Dhabi International Airport on the road to Shahama City. The first school will cater to kindergarten and primary level children and will span over 23,060 sq.m. and will accommodate over 2000 students.
The second school will cater to intermediate and secondary level children and will span over 16,604 sq.m. and accommodate over 1,000 students. The facility will consist of modern villa style units grouped into four distinct architectural themes which will include Arabian, Desert, Mediterranean and Contemporary themes.
The third school will be built in Al Reef 2 in Al Samha, Abu Dhabi, which has 860 villas and will cater to kindergarten children and span over 18,218 sq.m. and will accommodate around 1,000 students.
The fourth school will be located within the Ghantoot Hotel and Resort in Abu Dhabi and will also cater to early level and kindergarten children and will cover 25,779 sq.m. and accommodate approximately 1,200 students.
Manazel’s Chairman, Mohamed M. Al Qubaisi, said that the building of these education facilities is directly in line with Manazel’s commitment to provide fully integrated environments for its residential communities.
"In line with Abu Dhabi's vision 2030, our school building programme will support the on-going growth of our communities and provide much needed educational facilities for all of the families that live in our developments. Our vision is to create fully integrated communities that combine education health, shopping and entertainment within a modern urban environment," he added.
