Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Nohad Mashnouq, on Wednesday warned of using Uber, stressing that the app is not safe and calling to resort to the traditional transportation means.
Mashnouq made these remarks during the annual lunch banquet hosted by Beirut municipality upon the festive season, in presence of Beirut Governor Ziad Shbib.
"The new municipal council is working seriously on electricity-related projects with the aim of providing power around the clock in the capital," Mashnouq said.
"We are also working on a comprehensive solution to the waste issue in Beirut," he added.
"All the strategic dossiers relevant to Beirut services are now on the right track," he concluded
