The 7th Constituent Judicial Session for Military Prosecution officers kicked off today at the BDF Military Judiciary under the patronage of Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Lt. General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
Officers from the military judicial authorities of brotherly countries (the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait) are taking part in the session alongside officers from the military judicial authorities of BDF and the National Guard.
The BDF Chief of Staff welcomed the participants, wishing the session every success in attaining set up goals. He lauded the efforts of President and members of the Military Judiciary in continuously holding judicial and legal sessions. He also thanked the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for his unlimited support to the military judiciary and for his dedication of all human and material resources to ensure success of the session.
The BDF Military Judiciary has been organising sessions for the GCC armed forces affiliates since 2007. It has also been playing a pioneering role since 2002 in training the colleges of law in Bahrain and equipping them with legal and practical skills.
The 7th Military Judicial Session includes practical and theoretical training in international law and human rights, in cooperation with the legal and judicial authorities in Bahrain.
