Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has witnessed the marriage of a young Emirati at the newly inaugurated 'Service 1' centre in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Omar Sultan AlOlama and Amal bin Shabib, who are the first couple to be married at the centre, reflecting the success of the UAE government to achieve its goal of ensuring the happiness of its citizens.
The marriage ceremony was held in the presence of the couple’s families using the service package "Mabrook Ma Dabrat" (transliterated from Arabic) meaning 'congratulations on your marriage,' which employs a smart technology in linking the centre with an official in Dubai courts to complete the marriage contract according to the Islamic Sharia and legal procedures.
