The overall toll of pilgrims who arrived from abroad to perform Haj through air, land and sea ports up to 20/12/1438 AH stood at 1,497,095, marking an increase of 367,095 compared with the same period last year, or about 32%, according to statistics issued by the Directorate General of Passports (DGP).
DGP added that the number of pilgrims arriving by air was 1,400,670 pilgrims, by land 83,056 and by sea 13,369, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
