'My Child’s Seat' campaign extended until end of 2018

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, has directed the extension of the My Child’s Car Seat campaign until the end of 2018 after it garnered positive feedback from participating parents, caregivers, families, and public and private institutions.

Rym Abdulla Al Falasy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, said that following encouraging support from all community members, the council extended the council-sponsored campaign, until the end of 2018.

She added that the General Secretariat of the Executive Council donated 500 car seats towards the campaign, urging all community members to join and support the campaign by raising awareness of its importance and donating car seats in order to keep children safe from accidents.

The council's strategic partners include the Ministry of Interior, the Emirates Red Crescent, Abu Dhabi Media Company, Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE, and Mothercare – who are providing a discount of 20% for every car seat purchase with proof of following UAESCMC’s social media accounts.
