Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah congratulated Thursday the residents of the Beqa and all the Lebanese on the great national victory over terrorists who occupied our treasured Lebanese soil.
"August 28, 2017, will be marked as the second Liberation Day," Sayyed Nasrallah announced in a televised speech at a ceremony marking victory over terrorism, held by Hezbollah at the Trade Fair Square in Baalbek, in the presence of tens of thousands of jubilant people who gathered to rejoice the realized victory.
The ceremony was attended by scores of political, religious, municipal, mayoral and cultural dignitaries, notably the Representative of the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, Minister Pierre Raffoul, the Representative of House Speaker Nabih Berri, Minister of Agriculture Ghazi Zoaiter, Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim Ali, the Representative of MP Sleiman Franjieh, his son Toni, and "Loyalty to Resistance" bloc MPs
