The delegation was headed by Brigadier Staff Eng. Hamad Juma Al Neyadi, Deputy Commander of National Defence College, and received by the CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports, Captain Mohammed Juma Al Shamisi, as well as senior management at Abu Dhabi Ports.

The visit began with a tour of KIZAD’s Visitor Centre and highlighted the latest developments and plans on site. The delegation learned about crisis management at Abu Dhabi Ports as well as emergencies and crises response plans and systems.

The delegation toured several facilities in both KIZAD and Khalifa Port, including the Khalifa Port Container Terminal, one of the world's fastest growing container ports. They also visited the emergency response facility, the control room and crisis centre.

Captain Mohammed Al Shamisi, while expressing his pleasure at the visit said, "This visit comes in the framework of strengthening our relationship with the National Defence College, which has succeeded in developing its students’ knowledge of national strategy and security as well as the principles, tools and concepts of leadership and planning at the strategic level.
