A Palestinian was detained in Egypt's northern Sinai after a weapons cache was found in his house, Egyptian security officials said Saturday. Military and police forces seized five bombs, bullets and knives from the Palestinian's home in El-Arish's Hay Karm Abu Njeela neighborhood. The man's sister, who security were also seeking, fled from the house, but her brother was detained and brought to the northern Sinai police station. Police said he admitted to working with his sister to steal the weapons after an Egyptian police station was raided by unknown assailants during the uprising against Hosni Mubarak in early 2011.
